When the code is asked for
Once only, at the moment you subscribe.
When you decide to pay for the first time, Orion asks once whether someone referred it to you. You answer with the code — a short word, in the style of `AC-CONSULTORIA` — or you say nobody did. Either way the subscription goes through the same, with nothing blocked.
If you are subscribing from the web panel, instead of the question in the chat there is a Referral code field on the subscription screen. It is optional and may be left empty.
Where the code is not asked for:
- It is not asked during the free trial. Nobody brings this up while you are testing.
- It is not asked when you create the account, when you connect WhatsApp or any other channel, or in the middle of an ordinary conversation.
- It is not asked again later. An account answers this question once.
The code does not touch your price
A referral code is not a discount coupon. The price you pay is the list price, code or no code, and the free trial lasts the same for everyone.
It does one thing only: it records who introduced you to Orion, so that person is recognized for it. Orion is always the one who contracts with you, bills you and invoices you — never the partner.
I don't have a code
Then just say nobody referred you, or leave the field empty.
Nothing is missing from your account because of it. The product is the same, the price is the same, the support is the same, and no feature sits hidden behind a code.
I typed it wrong, or remembered it too late
The referral is written once, at the moment of payment, and it is not rewritten afterwards — not by you and not by us. That rigidity is deliberate: it is what stops one person's referral from being handed to someone else months later.
In practice that gives two cases:
- Mistyped a letter at the time? Orion replies right there that it does not know that code and lets you fix it before the charge goes out.
- Remembered only after you had paid? Then it is too late. Talk to support — we cannot rewrite the referral, but we can explain the situation to the person who referred you.
Reactivation does not ask for a code
If your account stopped and later came back, reactivation neither asks for nor accepts a referral code. That holds even if you never gave one before.
Anyone who was already a customer is out
The program is about referring a new customer. If your company was an Orion customer before, the account works normally again, but the referral does not enter the program — and Orion tells you so on the spot, instead of leaving you guessing.
What the person who referred you sees of your account
This is the part that matters most, and it is short.
Referring you gives the partner no access whatsoever to your account. They do not enter your Orion, they do not speak through your Orion, they receive no copy of anything, and they are not notified of what you do.
In their panel, about you, they see only:
- Your company's name — legal or trading name — and your state.
- The dates: when the referral was recorded and when the subscription started.
- How many seats your account has, of what kind and on which plan.
- Whether the account has started being used: a yes or a no, with no detail at all.
And they never see:
- Your conversations with Orion, on any channel — not in full, not summarized, not even the subject.
- Your e-mail, your phone, or your tax identification numbers.
- Your CRM, your contacts, your tasks, your files and your notes.
- The people in your organization.
- Your invoices.
The partner's panel also has no button to message you. If they get in touch, it was through the number they already had — they are the ones who referred you, after all.
You can unlink it
You can ask to unlink the referral at any time: just talk to support.
Unlinking changes nothing about your price, your plan, your data or anything already recorded. From then on your account simply stops appearing in the panel of the person who referred you.
When a partnership ends
A partnership may have an end date, agreed between Orion and the partner. When there is one, it shows up in the partner's panel from the day it is set — it is never a last-minute surprise.
What that date cuts off is the way in, not the way out. From it onwards that partner's code is no longer accepted on a new subscription: anyone subscribing after that can no longer use the code, and Orion says so on the spot instead of leaving you guessing.
What they already referred keeps counting. Every seat already referred keeps earning them commission until it completes its own 36 months, one by one, even with the partnership ended — ending it neither erases nor interrupts anything already referred. That is why the partner's panel stays open after the end date: it is where they follow what is still owed to them.
And for you, the referred customer, the end of a partnership changes nothing: same price, same plan, same data, same support, same account. The referral recorded on the day you subscribed stays exactly as it is — and you can still ask to unlink it whenever you want, by talking to support.
I am the one who wants to refer
If you serve other companies — accounting, consultancy, association, agency — and want to refer Orion to them, there is a program for that, with a contract, training, a code of your own and a panel to follow your own book of clients.
The program's public page is orionworkers.com/parceiros, and that is where the conversation starts.
The amounts and commercial terms of the program are handled directly with each partner and are not part of this manual.
